The recently renovated Fraser Ballroom at Morgan Creek is the perfect location for couples looking to host an elegant wedding reception. Located directly across from our wedding garden, guests are just a few steps away from their dedicated entrance into the ballroom.
With a capacity of 150 guests, the Fraser Ballroom offers plenty of space to customize a floor plan that suits your dream day. Take a seat at your head table and look across the dance floor to your guests at their tables as they enjoy items from our dinner buffet; or let us arrange the room for a cocktail-style party. Guests can enjoy the plentiful display of food at one of our incredible grazing stations or mingle at high top tables and cabaret tables covered in linens as our server’s pass hors d’eourves and sparkling wine or champagne. Don’t worry about renting tables, Morgan Creek provides all the necessary tables and chairs, from guest tables to a cake table.
All our tables are covered with crisp white linen tablecloths and white linen napkins. All display tables are dressed in white skirting to provide a clean canvas for couples to add your own personalized décor touches. We are proud to offer complementary chair covers and your choice of a coloured sash to help with your décor needs. We also provide a white backdrop curtain behind your head table, a round mirror tile and candles on every table. The room itself is tastefully decorated with a modern gas-fireplace and lighting accents. 50 continuous feet of floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the space. And as the sun sets, our candles produce a warm glow upon the tables; let us dim the lights as guests continue to enjoy their evening.
Our ballroom has a large private patio which has the perfect view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Guests can use this extension of the ballroom to savor a beverage or bite to eat as they sit at one of the tables provided for their convenience. Guests can enjoy their time on this private patio, chatting and watching the golfers or taking beautiful photos with the mountains visible in the background.
Couples need not worry about having their dinner buffet set-up in the foyer or inside the room as the Fraser Ballroom at Morgan Creek comes with its own separate buffet space. Guests will be invited table by table to enter the room and fill their dinner plates before returning to their seats. And when dinner is done, let us close the doors so that you can continue, uninterrupted with your evening events, while we do the clean-up.
